The World Cup 2026 is here. So is the transfer window. For six young players, North America is the stage they need. A strong tournament could unlock moves to the biggest clubs in England and beyond.

Scouts are watching. Offers are circling. These are the players with the most to gain from a standout summer. Each one has already caught the eye.

Now it’s time to perform on the biggest stage of all at the World Cup to land a Premier League move.

Luka Vuskovic – The Tottenham centre back every top club wants

Luka Vuskovic belongs to Spurs. But that may not be the case for long. The 19-year-old Croatian starred on loan at Hamburg, finishing as the Bundesliga’s top-scoring defender with six goals.

His market value has soared to £50 million. Liverpool have long admired him. They need a centre-back after Konate’s exit. Bayern Munich are also watching. Even Barcelona and Real Madrid have been mentioned. A strong World Cup with Croatia will only accelerate the queue.

Yan Diomande – Liverpool’s £85m priority target

Yan Diomande is the most talked-about young winger in Europe. The 19-year-old Ivorian plays for RB Leipzig. Liverpool have made him their top priority after Mohamed Salah’s departure. PSG are in the race too and Diomande has openly admitted his love for the Parisian club.

Leipzig value him at €100 million-plus. However, Liverpool are “really pushing” according to Fabrizio Romano and hold a strong advantage. Diomande is focused on the World Cup first. After that, the clubs will fight it out, as per This is Anfield.

Joel Ordonez – The Club Brugge defender wanted by Tottenham

Joel Ordonez reportedly was close to a Liverpool move in January before they signed Jeremy Jacquet. Now he is back on their radar for the Anfield club and Tottenham Hotspur, too. The 22-year-old Ecuador international is a right-sided centre-back.

Chelsea, and Manchester City are also monitoring him closely. A good World Cup could push that fee even higher. Ordonez came through the famed Independiente del Valle academy alongside Caicedo and Pacho. The pedigree is unquestionable.

Matias Fernandez-Pardo – Lille’s £70m Belgian attacker

Matias Fernandez-Pardo is one of Ligue 1’s breakout stars. The 21-year-old scored eight goals and added five assists for Lille last season. He plays primarily on the left wing but can also lead the line. He has just earned his first Belgium call-ups.

Manchester United are leading the Premier League chase. Bournemouth wanted him last summer and now Liverpool and Manchester City are also in the mix. Lille value him at €70 million. A World Cup to remember with Belgium could make him the most wanted attacker.

Christ Oulai – The young Ivory Coast midfielder Spurs want

Christ Oulai plays for Trabzonspor. He is only 20. But he has already earned a World Cup call-up with Ivory Coast. The central midfielder impressed in the Turkish Super Lig this season. Tottenham have emerged as frontrunners for his signature.

Chelsea, Brighton, and Bournemouth have also shown interest. RB Leipzig and Benfica are tracking him too. Trabzonspor see him as one of the biggest sales in their history. Oulai is raw but dynamic. A strong tournament will open many doors.
