Chelsea kick off a new era under Xabi Alonso, their first Premier League season without European football in years.

Even so, the club’s core group of stars carry plenty of support off the pitch. From childhood sweethearts to law graduates, these partners have become recognisable figures of their own.

Here’s a closer look at the women standing behind Chelsea’s biggest names.

Nagore Aranburu, wife of head coach Xabi Alonso

Nagore Aranburu met Xabi Alonso when he was still a teenager playing for Real Sociedad, and the couple married in 2009, right before his move to Real Madrid. She’s built her own career as a model, actress, and fashion designer over the years. Interestingly, Nagore briefly crossed paths with Peter Crouch during his early Liverpool days, though neither realised it at the time.

Crouch spotted a striking receptionist at the Hope Street Hotel and excitedly told his teammates he “had a shout” with her, not knowing she was actually working on her language skills and already dating Alonso. The story became a beloved dressing-room legend once it emerged, and Crouch has recounted it fondly ever since.

Now, Nagore supports Xabi through his first season as Chelsea’s head coach.

Valentina Cervantes, partner of Enzo Fernandez

Valentina Cervantes and Enzo Fernandez met as teenagers in San Martin, Argentina, and their bond has lasted well over a decade. She worked in an empanada shop and later a call centre to help support the couple through Enzo’s early years in football.

Consequently, she watched his rise from Argentina’s domestic leagues all the way to a World Cup title and a big-money Chelsea move. The couple share two children, Olivia and Benjamin, though they briefly separated in October 2024.

Fortunately, they reconciled the following year, and Valentina continues to support Enzo through his international career with Argentina. She’s since built her own following as a model and influencer, all while balancing life between Buenos Aires and London.

Mia McClenaghan, girlfriend of Reece James

Mia McClenaghan has been by Reece James’s side since 2019, though the couple didn’t go public until November 2020. She studied law at Royal Holloway, University of London, graduating around the same time Reece broke into Chelsea’s first team.

The pair keep a relatively low profile compared to other WAGs, even as Reece captains Chelsea through his ongoing recovery from injury. Mia continues to combine glamour with substance, showing there’s more to her story than matchday appearances.

Olivia Holder, girlfriend of Cole Palmer

Olivia Holder started dating Cole Palmer in 2025, and their relationship became public knowledge by early 2026 after repeated sightings together. She keeps an unusually private profile for a model but has been caught by paparazzi celebrating her surprise birthday.

Even so, Olivia has become a familiar face at Stamford Bridge, regularly attending Cole’s matches both home and away. The couple enjoyed a getaway to Dubai earlier this year, where Cole treated her to flowers and a designer bag, and before that to Winter Wonderland.

Fans have warmed to Olivia’s down-to-earth approach, especially since she tends to wear casual, understated outfits rather than chasing the spotlight.

Khadije Skandar, girlfriend of Joao Pedro

Khadije Skandar has supported Joao Pedro for several years now, long before his big move to Chelsea in the summer of 2025. The couple made a stylish public appearance together at Wimbledon this July, with Joao sharing photos from the outing on social media.

Khadije prefers to keep her life largely private, rarely appearing in interviews or public statements. Still, she’s been a constant presence through Joao’s career, including his celebrations after Chelsea’s Club World Cup win.

As Joao continues to establish himself in west London, Khadije remains a steady source of support away from the cameras.

Zuzanna Sanchez, wife of Robert Sanchez

Zuzanna Sanchez has been by Robert Sanchez’s side since around 2020, and the couple married in a private ceremony in 2023. She works as a Polish-English interpreter and voice-over artist, though she keeps her career largely out of the spotlight.

The pair welcomed their son, Lawrence, in early 2024, and they’re expecting further additions to their growing family. Zuzanna rarely appears in public and maintains a private social media presence, preferring to support Robert from a distance rather than chase attention.

Mollie Ryan, girlfriend of Levi Colwill

Mollie Ryan has quietly supported Levi Colwill as he’s established himself as one of Chelsea’s most promising young defenders. The couple keep their relationship largely private, rarely appearing together in public settings.

Even so, Mollie remains a steady presence in Levi’s life as he continues to develop under new management at Stamford Bridge.

Paola Salazar, girlfriend of Moises Caicedo

Paola Salazar met Moises Caicedo back in 2017, long before he became one of the most expensive players in Premier League history. At the time, Moises was still finding his footing at Independiente del Valle in Ecuador, and Paola stood by him through those early struggles.

The couple share a young daughter, Zoe, and Paola continues to support Moises quietly from the stands at Chelsea matches. She keeps a relatively low profile in the UK, occasionally sharing glimpses of their life together on social media.

Rebecca Burnett, wife of Jordan Henderson

Rebecca Burnett met Jordan Henderson as teenagers growing up in Sunderland, and the couple married in 2014. She was born in Virginia before her family moved back to England when she was twelve.

Rebecca has largely avoided the spotlight throughout Jordan’s career, despite his trophy-laden spells at Liverpool and stints in Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and at Brentford. The couple share three children: Elexa, Alba, and James.

Now, Rebecca and the family prepare for a new chapter as Jordan begins life at Chelsea, reuniting with former Liverpool teammate Xabi Alonso.

Carolina Cunha e Silva, girlfriend of Pedro Neto

Carolina Cunha e Silva is a Lisbon-born model and influencer who’s been with Pedro Neto since 2021. The couple celebrated their fifth anniversary this June, right in the middle of Portugal’s World Cup campaign.

She keeps a fairly grounded profile despite the couple’s growing public presence, splitting her time between Portugal, the UK, and the United States. The pair have been spotted together at major moments, including Chelsea’s Club World Cup triumph last year.
