Aston Villa head into the new season fresh off Europa League glory and a return to the Champions League, and the club’s stars have plenty of steady support off the pitch too.
From interior designers to entrepreneurs, these partners have built lives and careers of their own alongside their footballing other halves. They are just as important in helping their counterparts achieve the success Villa have over the last few years under Unai Emery.
Here’s a closer look at the women behind Aston Villa’s biggest stars and some of the biggest names in the Premier League.
Amanda “Mandinha” Gama, wife of Emiliano Martinez
Amanda Gama, known widely as Mandinha, is a Portuguese-Brazilian interior designer who met Emiliano Martinez in London back in 2013, while he was at Arsenal. The couple married in May 2017, and they now have two children together, son Santiago and daughter Ava.
Mandinha built her own successful business, Mi Suenos Kids, a luxury children’s boutique with stores across London and the Midlands. She recently expanded the brand into Tamworth, adding to locations in Radlett and beyond.
Despite Emi’s larger-than-life personality on the pitch, Mandinha takes a quieter approach, focusing on family life and her growing business while supporting him through every major tournament with Argentina.
Ellie Alderson, wife of Ollie Watkins
Ellie Alderson met Ollie Watkins eight years ago, back when he played for Brentford in the Championship. The couple were introduced through mutual friends, a story later revealed on Amazon Prime’s “The New Generation” documentary. Ellie works as a qualified interior designer and also runs a side business selling second-hand designer clothing online.
Ollie proposed during a romantic break at Lake Como in July 2024, having planned the moment during Euro 2024. The couple married in 2025 at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, followed by a 3-day celebration in the south of France. They now have two children together, and Ollie has credited fatherhood with giving him a healthier perspective on football.
Frankee Rose, partner of Tyrone Mings
Frankee Rose has largely stayed out of the public eye throughout her relationship with Tyrone Mings. The couple share a daughter, Amelia, and Frankee has occasionally joined Tyrone at events alongside other Villa families, including a trip to Barbados for a teammate’s wedding.
Tyrone tends to keep his personal life private, rarely discussing his relationship in interviews, though he brings Amelia onto the pitch on occasion to share in his biggest moments at Villa Park.
Maja Nilsson Lindelof, wife of Victor Lindelof
Maja Nilsson Lindelof is a well-known Swedish blogger, podcaster, and founder of the fashion brand Lis Bonne Atelier. She married Victor in 2018, back when he played for Manchester United, and the couple have three children together. Maja endured a frightening burglary in 2021, locking herself and her children in a room until the danger passed.
Even so, she’s remained a steady presence ever since, from riding a mechanical bull in Texas during the 2026 World Cup to snapping a candid photo of Prince William at a Villa afterparty in Istanbul.
Family values reportedly played a big role in Victor’s decision to join Aston Villa over more lucrative offers elsewhere, and Maja continues to document their life together.
Ronni, girlfriend of Ezri Konsa
Ronni has stood by Ezri Konsa since well before his breakthrough with England. She famously burst into tears of joy back in November 2023, when Ezri received his first senior call-up to the England squad, and he later revealed she’d been more excited than him about the news.
The couple keep their relationship largely out of the spotlight, with little public information available beyond that emotional moment. Even so, Ronni’s reaction became one of the most heartwarming stories to emerge from Ezri’s rise, and she remains a quiet source of support as he continues to establish himself at the heart of Villa’s defence.
Paula Batet, wife of Pau Torres
Paula Batet is an architect from Castellon de la Plana, Spain, and she met Pau Torres in early 2021. The couple kept their relationship private for several months before Pau shared a family photo on Instagram that revealed Paula to fans for the first time. Paula runs her own design studio, Estudio Paula Batet Rico, working with high-end clients on interior projects.
She and Pau married in Benicassim, Spain, and they announced they were expecting their first child together in mid-2024. Paula keeps her main social media presence largely private, reserving her public posts for her professional design and architecture work instead.
Emely Tuinder, partner of Ian Maatsen
Emely Tuinder has been with Ian Maatsen for several years, with their relationship becoming public through social media back in March 2023. She’s half-Dutch, half-Dominican. Tuinder is known for her love of travel and her frequent appearances in the stands supporting Ian.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Mi’lori Eliza Maatsen, on January 2, 2025, having announced the pregnancy on Instagram with the message “love and faith brought us this little blessing.” Emely has stood by Ian through major moments, including his Champions League final appearance with Borussia Dortmund and Villa’s Europa League triumph over Freiburg.

Katherine Pilkington, girlfriend of Ross Barkley
Katherine Pilkington works as an account executive for The Social PR, and she first stepped out with Ross Barkley in February 2022 during a Valentine’s Day trip to London’s Saatchi Gallery. She’s close friends with Love Island’s Ellie Brown, and the couple have since enjoyed getaways together to destinations including Lake Como, Barbados, and New York.
Katherine keeps a fairly low profile, letting her career speak for itself rather than chasing attention. She’s continued her support of Barkley throughout his career from Everton, Chelsea, and now to Aston Villa.
Sara Stokes, partner of John McGinn
Sara Stokes has been with John McGinn since at least 2014, making theirs one of the longest-standing relationships among Villa’s squad. McGinn proposed in December 2022. Fans refer to Sara as his wife although there’s no public confirmation of their marriage.
Sara occasionally appears alongside John at Villa events and Scotland matches, including a memorable joint holiday to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The pair maintain a fairly private personal life together, with John’s grandfather’s own footballing legacy, as former Celtic chairman, adding another layer of family history to their story.
Claudia, partner of Emiliano Buendia
Claudia has been in a long-term relationship with Emiliano Buendia since 2016, back when he was still playing for Getafe. The couple have two children together, though they haven’t married despite years together. Claudia prefers to keep her life almost entirely private, rarely appearing in public or discussing her relationship.
She’s supported Emiliano through two Premier League promotions and his continued development at Villa Park, standing quietly in the background while he built his career in England over different stints for Norwich City and Aston Villa.
Coralie Porrovecchio, wife of Boubacar Kamara
Coralie Porrovecchio is a Belgian model and former reality TV personality who finished as runner-up in the Miss Belgium beauty contest. She and Boubacar Kamara met in France in 2019, and the couple moved quickly, with Coralie relocating to be with him shortly after they started dating.
They married in 2023. However, when Boubacar received a late call-up to the France squad, their honeymoon was cut short. Coralie joked on Instagram that she didn’t know “whether to laugh or cry” about the disruption.
The couple share two sons, Kingsley and Kais, and Coralie has built a large following of over two million people on Instagram, documenting their family life together. She has been very supportive of Kamara through his injury-ridden Premier League career and the highs.
Adriana Lobaz, girlfriend of Alejandro Garnacho
Adriana Lobaz is a Spanish TikTok influencer from Zaragoza who went public with Alejandro Garnacho in early 2026, following his split from long-term partner Eva Garcia, the mother of his young son, Enzo. They separated in 2025 following career moves that were not aligned.
As a result, Adriana came into the fore. The pair were first spotted together on a getaway to Egypt, sharing near-identical photos from the same locations, before Adriana’s presence in Alejandro’s life became impossible to ignore. She’s since moved into his home in London.
Reports suggest the relationship remains relatively new and casual for now, especially following his big move to Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea. Alejandro continues to co-parent Enzo alongside Eva, regularly sharing photos of the two of them together.
Leah Monroe, partner of Tammy Abraham
