There’s been chatter that Brooklyn Beckham might be ready to thaw the ice with David and Victoria.
The feud between Brookly and his parents has now been blown to a full-scale public war after the eldest Beckham delivered his own version of events, and it’s the opposite of a reconciliation tease.
In a dramatic new update, Brooklyn has posted a series of posts on his Instagram, making some serious allegations against his parents. Not only does that reframe the feud, it also makes his current stance crystal clear.
Brooklyn Beckham has no plans of reconciliation
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham addressed the rift directly on Instagram Stories, writing: “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”

He also pushed back on the long-running narrative that Nicola Peltz is the reason for the distance, insisting: “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
Brooklyn claimed the tension didn’t appear overnight, alleging, “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.” He called his parents’ parenting “performative social media posts” and “family events” as part of the public image.

He then tied the feud to specific incidents around his 2022 wedding to Nicola, alleging his parents “disrespecting” her, including claims about a wedding dress issue and an awkward ‘inappropriate’ first-dance moment that he says left him humiliated.

Brooklyn also alleged the dispute became financial, claiming he was pressured to sign over rights connected to his name, and that his siblings have been pulled into the drama, with conflicting claims over who blocked whom on social media.
Brooklyn Beckham wants to ‘move on’ from the family feud
The most telling part of Brooklyn’s update is that he’s positioning separation as closure, not an opening bid for peace talks.
He rejected claims that Nicola Peltz is driving the distance. “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards.”
On attempts to fix things, he claimed he tried to mend fences before David’s 50th birthday, but felt boxed into doing it publicly. He ended by saying the distance has helped his wellbeing: “I wake up every morning grateful for the life I close, and I have found peace and relief.”
Brooklyn also mentioned how his priority remains his marriage and his mental wellbeing. As well as, the life he’s building outside the Beckham spotlight.
