Estevao scores fantastic goal as Chelsea make lightwork of Barcelona in the Champions League
Last Updated on 25 November 2025
Barcelona experienced a torrid evening in London with Chelsea putting three past the La Liga giants who had Ronald Araujo sent off before half-time.
In a game full of numerous disallowed goals, it was Jules Kounde who put the ball in his own net to give the Blues a lead.
Then, two yellow cards in the space of 12 minutes meant that Araujo got his marching orders. From there on out, it was one-way traffic as Chelsea wrapped up a 3-0 win at the Bridge.
Estevao scores a rocket in Chelsea’s 3-0 win
Dancing through Barcelona’s defense, the young teenager from Brazil, made his mark in the 55th minute.
He slammed home from a difficult angle as Stamford Bridge erupted with Chelsea doubling their lead.
It was a special goal from a special player, who has a knack for scoring screamers, having hit one against Chelsea, earlier this year in the Club World Cup.

As per OptaJoe, Estevao became only the third teenager to score in each of his first three starts in the Champions League, keeping company with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
Enzo Maresca’s masterclass hands Chelsea boost in direct Champions League qualification
Chelsea added a third late on through Liam Delap and could have easily scored a fourth, too. From a coaching perspective, Enzo Maresca completely outplayed Barcelona, with the visitors mustering only two shots on target.
Even before the sending off of Araujo, Chelsea ran Barcelona ragged.
With that win, Chelsea move to fifth, temporarily, with Wednesday’s Champions League fixtures yet to be played. They have 10 points from 5 games but face two difficult away trips in their final three group stage games.
In the next Champions League gameweek, Chelsea will travel to Bergamo to take on Atalanta, before hosting Pafos. Their final groupstage game is also in Italy, with the Club World Cup Champions playing away to Napoli.
