5 Premier League players who are unintentionally hilarious
Last Updated on 21 November 2025
Football is full of characters, but some Premier League players don’t need to try to be funny, they simply are.
Whether it’s their facial expressions, interviews, chaotic energy, or just their general behaviour, these stars provide comedy gold every single week without always meaning to.
Here are five Premier League players who are unintentionally hilarious!
5 – Aaron Ramsdale (Southampton – Newcastle United)
A perfectly serious goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale can be extremely hilarious and sometimes without meaning to.
Once in an interview, the former Arsenal man actually said that he can’t concentrate for full 90 minutes. Admitting that he has short periods of “madness” before he gets back to full concentration mode. Not a great trait to have as a goalkeeper…
He also loves getting into it with fans, famously snubbing a pitch invader’s outstretched hand.
Ramsdale can also be a little wasteful with his passes, which probably isn’t the funniest thing to witness if he does it for your team but super funny as a neutral.
4 – Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Few players have a better social media presence than Erling Haaland. In an era of media-trained professionals, Haaland has made sure his socials reflect exactly who he is.
From cartons of “raw milk” to his hilarious methods of time-wasting, Haaland knows exactly how to add some humour to the sport.
He’s also made a routine of letting his hair down, literally, and it’s fair to say he sure does look super funny when he does it.
Not to mention, the Norwegian has a hilarious robot dance move which we get to see quite often as he has been scoring for fun.
3 – Richarlison (Tottenham Hotspur)
Is there anything funnier than Richarlison’s pigeon celebration? Probably not.
But the Brazilian also has a knack for celebrating late goals. While there is nothing wrong with that, it’s just funny to see Richarlison ending up on the losing side despite netting a late goal.
It happened against Liverpool at Anfield when he scored late on, only for Liverpool to score against a few seconds later and win the game.
And it happened this season, too, against Manchester United as Richarlison thought he’d won it for Spurs, only to concede a late equalizer at home.
2 – Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
As far as unintentionally funny players go, Cole Palmer is truly numero uno. That’s because most of his interviews and media duties are absolutely hilarious.
It’s almost like Palmer has no idea about anything outside of football. In fact, even in football, all he’s concerned about is his game and his team.
We are not complaining, though, it makes for hilarious content!
1 – Jack Grealish (Everton – Manchester City)
Downright the funniest player in the Premier League, Jack Grealish truly knows how to party. Every time Manchester City won big during his time at the Etihad Stadium, Grealish was drunk for days!
In fact, liquid courage is the reason why we got one of the most priceless moments on camera. Grealish asking Thierry Henry if he would have struggled against Kyle Walker. Titi’s reaction? Insane.
He also once revealed how John Stones calls him Keira Knightley and you know what? We absolutely see the resemblance!
