The Saudi Pro League isn’t slowing down. Every transfer window, another wave of Premier League stars are linked with monster contracts and tax-free paydays.

From undervalued squad players to frustrated starters and late-prime veterans eyeing one last blockbuster deal. Several Premier League names are already emerging as prime candidates for a lucrative Middle Eastern switch.

Here are five Premier League talents who look tailor-made for the next Saudi spending spree.

5 – Harry Maguire (Al Nassr and Al Ettifaq)

Somewhat of a surprise candidate, Harry Maguire has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.

Maguire joined Manchester United in the summer of 2019 on a world-record fee for a defender. Since then, he has failed to live up to his transfer fee but has been a consistent performer, as of late.

But, according to The Sun, Maguire is a target for Saudi Pro League clubs, Al Nassr and Al Ettifaq, with an eye-watering £2 million per month contract on the table.

4 – Bernardo Silva (Al Ahli and Al Qadsiah)

After a couple of failed attempts to bring Bernardo Silva to Saudia Arabia, the interested parties are ready to make another move for the Portuguese star.

The treble-winner is apparently central to Al Ahli and Al Qadsiah’s future plans, as per talkSport. Both clubs are ready to offer a lucrative deal to the 31-year-old, knowing he rejected a £700k-per-week contract from Al Hilal in the summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr have also shown interest, with Bernardo being tipped as a back-up target to Bruno Fernandes.

3 – Casemiro (Al Nassr)

According to Goal, Casemiro rejected the chance to join Al Nassr in the summer. However, Saudi Pro League rarely take no for an answer and are expected to firm up their interest, again.

To make matters interesting, Manchester United are also not expected to renew Casemiro’s contract. The United hierarchy believe they need two new midfielders and that would require a sale.

Casemiro has looked quite decent in the 2025/26 campaign but he turns 34 in February. It might be time for United to cash in and re-invest.

2 – Bruno Fernandes (Al Hilal)

Manchester United rejected a massive nine-figure sum for Bruno Fernandes from Al Hilal in the summer of 2025.

While, the United skipper has reiterated his desire to stay at Old Trafford beyond the current season, it currently looks unlikely. With United primed to spend big in the summer of 2026 on their midfield, accepting a lucrative offer from Saudi might be the smart play.

Ruben Amorim is clearly a huge fan of Fernandes but it might not be his call if Saudi come calling, again.

1 – Mohamed Salah (Plenty of Saudi Pro League clubs)

It’s not a surprise that Mohamed Salah might be the most coveted signing for the Saudi Pro League after Cristiano Ronaldo.

That’s why there is no single club interested, rather it’s a case of the entire league. Recently, Salah’s form for Liverpool has fallen off the cliff and the 33-year-old has not looked like his consistent self.

Liverpool got their number 11 to sign a new two-year deal in the summer of 2025. That gives the Merseyside club a bargaining chip and they might look to cash it in at the end of the season.
