Erling Haaland has done it again, smashing yet another Premier League record, this time becoming the fastest player in history to reach 100 goals.

It’s a landmark that once took elite strikers years of grinding consistency to achieve, yet Haaland has torn through it at terrifying speed, redefining what “goal machine” truly means in the modern era.

So, with Haaland now standing alone at the summit, here are the fastest players to reach 100 Premier League goals after the inevitable Norwegian phenom.

5 – Thierry Henry (160 games)

The Premier League’s most elegant forward makes the list and proves that speed to 100 isn’t just about brute force.

Henry reached his century in 160 matches, combining devastating pace, finesse, and ruthless finishing during Arsenal’s golden era.

Whether drifting in from the left or racing through the middle, Henry redefined what a modern striker could be. His inclusion here feels almost inevitable, a player who didn’t just score goals, but made them look effortless.

4 – Sergio Aguero (147 games)

One of the greatest pure finishers the league has ever seen, Sergio Aguero reached 100 goals in just 147 games.

Relentless movement, ice-cold composure, and an instinctive understanding of space made him lethal inside the box and impossible to stop at his peak.

During his time at Manchester City, Aguero’s goal per game record was unbelievable, coming up to 0.67, as per Statmuse. Of course, he also has the honour of scoring probably the best goal in Premier League history, as well, but he’s still only fourth on this list.

3 – Harry Kane (141 games)

Kane’s rise from late bloomer to Premier League legend was rapid once it truly began. He reached 100 goals in 141 matches, fuelled by outrageous consistency and a striker’s brain that always seemed two steps ahead of defenders.

What made Kane special was not just the volume of goals, but their variety: headers, long-range rockets, penalties, tap-ins, he had it all. A complete No. 9 who climbed this list with terrifying inevitability.

He remains the only other player apart from Erling Haaland, in contention of breaking Alan Shearer’s record for most Premier League goals. Question is, will he return to England to claim that record?

2 – Alan Shearer (124 games)

Given the fact that Alan Shearer set this record in the 90s, this is as absurd as it gets.

Basically, the record for the fastest century in the Premier League was set early on and it remained standing until Erling Haaland arrived.

Shearer’s power, aggression, and lethal finishing made him football’s ultimate penalty-box predator. For years, this achievement defined the gold standard for Premier League strikers. And it truly needed someone very special to break it.

1 – Erling Haaland (111 games)

Haaland has broken Shearer’s record in style. For what it’s worth, there is every chance the Norwegian could’ve done it even earlier if he did not go on a two-game drought.

Yeah, we are at a point with Haaland where even two games without a goal feel like a drought.

But Haaland, for many, is already the most consistent goalscorer the Premier League has ever seen. And, this record won’t be the only one Haaland smashes if he sticks around for another few years with Shearer’s 260 very much in sight.
