Home security is one of the biggest expenses for any high-profile footballer with crimes like burglaries and robberies growing at an alarming rate.

This time, it was another big name Chelsea superstar who was at the end of a burglary attempt.

As per reports, it’s understood that he and his family were at home when the incident took place.

Raheem Sterling targeted in terrifying home invasion, again

According to the Telegraph, the incident took place at his Berkshire residence around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening. Masked men reportedly attempted to break into the property, while Raheem Sterling was at home with his family at the time.

The 30-year-old was present along with his long-term partner, Paige Milian and their children. Fortunately, no one was harmed but a spokesperson confirmed the chilling ordeal calling it ‘a violation of privacy’.

Thames Valley Police have launched a full investigation, urging witnesses to come forward with any information. Chelsea, meanwhile, are said to be offering full support to the player despite banishing him from first team training.

The break-in marks the second time Sterling’s home has been targeted. The first occurring during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when he was forced to fly home after a robbery at his then-residence in Oxshott, Surrey.

Raheem Sterling’s career petering out as he seeks January exit from Chelsea

Once considered one of the brightest prospects in the country, Raheem Sterling’s fallen out of favour at the highest level.

Still only 30, Sterling was a major cog in Pep Guardiola’s side that hit 100 points, winning 10 major honours with the Citizens.

Before that, he was a stand-out at Liverpool, building up a ferocious partnership with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

Unfortunately, the last few seasons at Chelsea and a loan at Arsenal have been forgetful, to say the least. Enzo Maresca is clearly not a huge fan of his talent and as a result, Sterling has been asked to look for a new club.

Failure to secure a transfer in the summer led to Sterling being banished by Chelsea. However, the England international is expected to depart Stamford Bridge in January 2026.
